Amy Smart

Amy Smart was an American model as well as actress. Born and brought up in California, USA, she first began modeling in Italy. In 1996 she made her first appearance acting as an actor in the TV movie called 'Her Costly Affair.' In the following years, after which she starred as a supporting character in the movie 'Starship Troopers', she had a very difficult time. The transition between modeling and acting since models are not considered as acting professionals, and are generally given small, insignificant roles. Amy never gave up. She was able to surpass her previous roles in the 70's' show and the feature film Varsity Blues. Her next move was to play principal roles on the romantic comedy film, 'Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds. Amy received recognition for her work in the last 10 years. Amy went on to do several big movies, including"Crank" with Jason Statham, the "Crank" series with Jason Statham, and the show "Shameless," in which she was a beloved as a recurring actor.
